시간이 흐르면서 멤버들 보컬 실력이 더 는게 분명하게 느껴지면서도, 큰 베리에이션 없이 원곡대로 부르니까 과거의 향수 역시 느낄 수 있음
시간의 흐름, 혹은 곡의 분위기 흐름에 맞춰서 세트리스트를 짜서 킬보 최장 러닝타임인데도 영상을 보면서 길다는 느낌 없이 몰입감 있게 볼 수 있음 그리고 무엇보다 팀의 컨셉인 레드와 벨벳을 적극 활용해 곡 섹션을 나눠서 기승전결까지 온전히 갖춘 영상 탄생..
워낙 좋은 수록곡이 많아서 다른 수록곡도 있었으면 하는 아쉬움을 가지는 사람만 엄청 많은 것부터 킬링보이스 레드벨벳 편이 레전드를 찍을 수밖에 없는 이유임
이번 킬링보이스가 너무 좋은 이유는 최근곡들, 숨겨진 명곡 수록곡들, 그리고 이번 정규 3집 타이틀 칠킬 라이브 때문도 있지만 무엇보다 시간이 꽤 지난 노래들을 다시 라이브로 부르는 걸 볼 수 있다는 것💗
멤버 모두 옛날보다 보컬실력이 더 발전해서 발전한 보컬로 옛날 노래를 지금 들을 수 있는게 감사해🩷💛💚💙💜

거기다가 연차 쌓이면 다양한 느낌의 레드+벨벳 느낌까지 내니까 컨셉은 무한대인듯
사실상 레드벨벳이 연차가 쌓였어도 뒤처지거나 한물간 느낌이 들지 않는 큰 이유인 거 같아요. 레드랑 벨벳 다 가능하고, 둘이 섞이고, 연차따라 묘하게 달라지면서... 그룹 색깔은 확실한데 컨셉은 무한대...

Just started stabbing them recently and I can’t believe I didn’t discover them a long time ago!!! All of their voices are so amazing and unique. I’m so blown away by the fact they never miss an adlib. Wendy’s vocals are really no joke. I have always loved Seulgi’s voice (was a 28 Reasons lover before even knowing who she was), Irene raps and vocals are really great, I absolutely love Yeri’s raps, and I can never get Joy’s vocal time out of my head!
생각보다 조이가 보컬에서 많은 부분을 담당하는구나.. 개인적으로 좋아하는 창법이 아닌데도 불구하고 레벨에 없으면 아쉬운 목소리인건 확실한듯

레드벨벳은 가사도 항상 괜찮고 의미없는 후크송이 없어서 좋다. 컨셉도 다양하고 그러다보니 풍부한 음악을 들려줄 수 있고 또 그래서 한참 시간이 지나고 들어도 촌스럽지 않음. 그리고 무엇보다 라이브가 미쳤음 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ에스엠 특유의 코러스까지 다 부르는 라이브 ㅋㅋ 웬디는 뮤지컬 후 더 미친 보컬이 되었고 슬기도 여전히 잘하고 조이 특히 보컬적으로 많이 성장했고 아이린 예리도 레벨에 있어서 저평가되는 격도 있는거 같음 요즘 아이돌들중에 엄청 쉬운 본인 파트도 소화 못하고 부족한게 무대에서 티나는 멤버들 많은데 아이린 예리 데뷔때부터 자기 파트들 다 찰떡으로 소화했고 언제나 안정적으로 라이브함. 그리고 확실히 연차 쌓이면서 점점 난이도있는 파트도 맡는데 다 라이브로 안정적으로 소화함..확실히 다섯명이 다 라이브를 잘하고 목소리 합이 좋으니까 들을 맛이 나는거같음

레드벨벳은 곡 전체가 킬링 포인트인게 많음 어디 하나 버릴 부분이 없음 너무 좋다 진짜 또 나와쥬
레드벨벳 노래 쭉 들으면서 느낀 건 중독적인데 질리거나 단조로운 느낌이 없음. 짧게 유행하는 틱톡용 음악이 아니라 음악성이 정말 뛰어남. 이번 신곡도 계속 변주가 들어가는데도 튀는 부분 하나 없이 풍부한 사운드와 깊이가 참 훌륭하다. 연차 꽤 됐는데도 이제 한 3-4년차 된 거 같음.

노래 사오는건 마켓에서 물건 사는거랑 다름. 안x일처럼 거의 안(못) 고치는 경우도 있지만 SM은 거의 대부분 뜯어고침. 리듬, 멜로디, 구성, 이펙트 등등에 따라서 완전 다른 곡이 됨. ’으르렁‘ 만든 1인중 하나인 신혁도 그후 딴 그룹에 준 곡들은 잘 안되고 지금은 잘 보이지도 않음. 덤덤 만든 라이언전 처럼 계속 잘되는 경우도 있고..
리액트투더케이 채널에 NCT 헬로퓨처 만든 문샤인 & 아드리안 인터뷰영상보면 켄지하고 같이 작업하면서 어떻게 곡을 수정해 나갔고, 같이 작업하면서 많이배웠는지 하는 내용이 잘 나옴.
지금은 대부분의 큰 기획사에서 하는 송캠프 방식이나 외국 작곡가에게 사오는거 자체가 SM에서 먼저 시도한거라 결과물을 뽑아내는 노하우가 있슴.

다 노래실력이랑 음색 지리는구나..
이렇게 다시보니 진짜 목소리들이 잘 합쳐진다. 당시에는 노래도 팀도 좀 하나로 안 보였는 데 이제 와 모아 보니 컨셉도 확실한 하나의 팀이었네. 아는 곡이 몇곡인지ㄷㄷ 이렇게 요정같은 목소리 가진 사람들을 찾아 팀으로 만들었다니 대단하다.

레드벨벳은 그룹 색깔 자체가 놀이공원, 잔혹동화, 파스텔톤 이런 느낌이 강해서 그런지 시간이 지나도 항상 데뷔때 그대로 귀엽고 깜찍한 매력이 유지되는 것 같아서 신기함

Fun fact: this is the longest Killing voice episode ever made. It was originally longer with 40 minutes but they had to cut some songs out (like Zoo, So good and Rbb) and the girls said they wanted to make a second part because of all the songs left out. Just proves how good RV's discography is!

I think I have to agree (outside of the greatest vocal group ever Big Mama). Mamamoo has stronger individual voices (although Wendy is every bit a match for Solar) but I think RV uses their harmonies more often and more effectively. In fact, one of the sad things about Mamamoo is we didn't get a lot of close harmony in their Killing Voice. As far as boy groups, don't make me choose between Exo and BTOB.
